Standalone uploads are billed from minute one. The 3-minute free sample applies only when AI Enhancement is added to a Digitization order from your dashboard (it has to be anchored to a Digitization base). For your own uploaded files, billing starts at the first marked minute.

We do not guarantee a satisfactory result. AI Enhancement output depends on your source footage and your personal taste. We cannot refund AI work after processing is complete. See the honest rundown of what AI can and cannot do for vintage video.

i. After upload

What happens next.

Upload creates the order. Payment happens later, per minute, only on the portions you choose.

  1. Your video lands in the dashboard

    The file is queued, scanned for format and interlacing, and made available for preview in your account.

  2. Mark the portions to enhance

    Watch the preview, scrub the timeline, mark in/out points on the clips that matter. You can mark one section or twenty: pricing scales with the minutes you select.

  3. Pay only for what you marked

    $0.25 per minute of selected video. Advanced deinterlacing on interlaced sources is included: no extra line item. Confirm the total in the dashboard and pay.

  4. Download your 1080p output

    Standalone uploads (this page) get a 30-day MP4 download window from order completion. No cloud subscription, no disc. Pull a local copy before the window closes. If you instead have a Digitization order with us and add AI to it from your dashboard, the enhanced output rides your Digitization delivery: 1 year cloud or BluRay (DVD doesn’t fit FullHD).

You only pay for the minutes you mark. Upload once, decide later.

Before you upload.

A handful of things worth knowing.

  1. Privacy

    Your file is processed on our own GPU infrastructure. We don’t send it to third-party AI services. Full details in our privacy policy.

  2. Source quality matters

    AI works best on clean source. A well-shot home video with reasonable lighting upscales noticeably; a heavily-degraded analog capture has less to work with. See our notes on realistic expectations.

  3. Already a customer?

    If your tapes are already in your dashboard from a Basic or Advanced order, you don’t need to upload again. Mark portions for AI directly from the dashboard at $0.25/minute.
